Petitioning the Bishop of Durham (Richard Neile, later Archbishop of York) on behalf of Darlington. With a manuscript note signed by Neile to the judge Sir Richard Hutton to "take this busines into his serious cogitac[i]on," and with a note from Hutton ordering the issuance of a writ on the matter, with a juried hearing and execution to follow.
